NZWTA APPOINTS NEW CHIEF EXECUTIVE
The NZWTA Board recently confirmed the appointment of Duane Knowles to be the next CEO of NZWTA. He will replace Stephen Fookes, who is retiring at the end of 2008 after 32 years with the Company.
After graduating from Massey University with a Science degree in Statistics and Operations Research Duane joined NZWTA in 1997 and has held technical and operations management roles during that time. He has played an active role in the development of technology and standards related to wool measurement. He is currently NZWTA Operations Manager.
Duane will become CEO on 1 November 2008 when Stephen Fookes will relinquish that position prior to his retirement at the end of the year, providing for a smooth transition. |
